Statement
Born in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) I served my apprenticeship in the Rhodesian Air Force Photographic section, and was actively involved in various forms of aerial and ground photography. Leaving the force in 1980 with the rank of Sergeant, I took up a position of manager of 3M Zimbabwe’s Photo Processing Division, and later was promoted to Project Manager overseeing the local development of new product lines. Using my global trading experience gained at 3M, and prior to immigrating to Canada in 1990, as export manager for a major textile firm in Harare, my job took me to over 18 countries within Europe and Africa.
After settling in Northern Ontario, I returned to my photographic roots and established Photografiks, a commercial and industrial photography company serving the region. Over the years I worked with various clients, in an array of photographic assignments. My images have featured in a numerous businesses marketing campaigns as well as some national and international publications including Country Woman, National Geographic’s Our Canada, The Globe and Mail and The Toronto Star.
Now semi-retired living in View Royal since 2018, I enjoy concentrating on Landscape Photography and have had work published locally in The Goldstream Gazette, The Capital Daily and The Westshore.
